So you want the game to be EXACTLY like it was when released. No Factions, no Nightfall, no new classes, no new skills, no new monsters, no new quests, nothing new at all. You would have become bored over a year ago, and quit long ago. Some changes are bad for some people. I agree with that. But no change has been bad for EVERYONE. Every change has been good for SOMEONE.

Of course not. I said in one of my previous posts (though not in the one you quoted, sorry ) that I was talking about the updates between releases, not paid content additions (Factions, NF, and eventually GWEN in this generation, the expansion packs of GW2). Factions and Nightfall weren't updates, but new GW releases. They didn't nerf anything, nor reduce the enjoyment of anything that was already there.

Even though there were some updates in the past i didn't like, the vast majority of them were needed.
Thus, suggesting such a dumb 'promise' is ridiculous beyond imagination.
I play GW because i want a constantly evolving game, and I'm totally against changing that.

I'm sorry, but this game was no where near "perfect" at release or at any other time, so I don't see why spending time thinking about a pipe dream is necessary. The game still isn't perfect, and will likely never be, because when it does, the fun will die off, every one will get bored and leave.
Change may not be fun all the time, but it is necessary. If we had nothing else to do, nothing else to desire, there would be no reason to keep coming back.

Ebon Dust Aura. It was not in the game AT ALL until a 'between release' update. Way of the Empty Palm was not in the game outside of a quest, so if you completed the quest without capping it, you were screwed unless you found someone to tag along with. Until a 'between release' update. Forget which, but an Assassin elite was also not in the game until a 'between release' update. Factions also had new weapon skins added in a 'between release' unpdate. An lot of stuff people (including you I bet) enjoy was added 'between releases'. Basically, you just want skills to be left unchanged. But even that isn't something that can happen and allow the game to be good. PvE players MIGHT be fine with NO changes to skills. But PvP definitely would have been destroyed with no skill updates.
